Vision: A Prince George’s County that nurtures early development of bilingual or multilingual children who excel academically across subjects, interact effectively with people from different cultures, and compete successfully in the global marketplace. Mission: To connect parents with each other, as well as community members and organizations, in advocating for new, expanded and improved language immersion programs from pre-kindergarten through the twelfth grade in Prince George’s County Public Schools. |
Update on FY 2016 Budget
Thank you to all who voiced support for the PGCPS SY 2016 – 2020 Strategic Plan, announced in March 2015 by Schools CEO, and the County Executive’s proposal to fund it. The County Council decided not the fund the budget put forth by the County Executive. See below links for more information. Your continued support of PGCPS foreign language and International Baccalaureate programs is needed and appreciated.
